With regard to Uniper, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action Robert Habeck said:

“The Federal Government is pressing ahead with work on stabilisation measures. We are engaged in a close dialogue on this with all the stakeholders. The specific form of support is currently being negotiated and will then be decided. In political terms, it is clear that we will not permit a systemically relevant company to go insolvent, resulting in turbulence on the global energy market. The new legislation in the Energy Security of Supply Act gives us various tools, and we will act.”
