Brazil has great potential for renewable energy and a growing demand for fuel. The project is developing an international reference model for the manufacture and use of climate-neutral fuels made using wind and solar power and deployed in aviation and other modes of transport. The project does not address electric mobility. Fuels are produced and used in a pilot project in order to demonstrate feasibility and economic viability. The experience made is systematised and fed into the international debate on decarbonising the transport sector.
