The current guideline covers the funding of collaborative projects for the research and development of new products, technologies and processes which diversify the raw materials base of the German economy via the material use of CO2 and reduce dependency on fossil resources. Here, the productivity of raw materials is to be improved, and the emissions of greenhouse gases reduced, compared with reference processes. The research covers technologies of TLRs 2-6, many of which make use of green hydrogen to manufacture CO2-based chemicals.
